Kathmandu — There were talks between Ri Su Yong, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and vice-chairman of the C.C., WPK, and Song Tao, head of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, who is visiting the DPRK as a special envoy of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the C.C., CPC, in Pyongyang on Saturday, the official media KCNA reported.
The two sides exchanged their views on such matters of mutual concern as the situation of the Korean peninsula and region and bilateral relations.
Present there from the DPRK side were Ri Chang Gun, vice department director of the C.C., WPK, and officials concerned, and from the Chinese side were the special envoy’s party and Ri Jinjun, Chinese ambassador to the DPRK.
