Kathmandu. Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Center) and former Prime Minister of the country, said that there is no alternative but to strengthen the Maoist Centre for defending the change and to establish the rights of the people.

Addressing a party-entry program at the party central Office, Parisdanda, Chairman Prachanda said that he had proposed for the amendment of the constitution twice for the equal rights of all the people but failed due to the KP Oli faction of the CPN-UML.

Chairman Prachanda commented that the KP Oli faction of UML is still not only against the change of the country but also against the Madhesi, women, Dalits, and indigenous people, and said that there was no alternative but to strengthen the Maoist Centre (party) to establish the rights of the people while defending the changes achieved. He stated that an attempt of regression has already been thwarted and the anti-change element has been chased away from Baluwatar to Balkot.

Chairman Prachanda expressed his commitment to defend the federal democratic republic at any cost. “We will defend the federal democratic republic by defeating the regressive forces at any cost,” he said.

The chairman stated that the party (CPN Maoist Centre) will now be strengthened from the center to the local level and announced that organized members of the party have already reached 800,000 and will soon reach one million easily.
