Kathmandu. Comrade Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) and ex-Prime Minister of Nepal, expressed his good wishes to leftist and communist revolutionaries of the world on the occasion of the 203rd birth anniversary of Karl Marx.
Releasing an official statement, Chairman Prachanda said, “On the occasion of the 203rd birth anniversary of Karl Marx, the great teacher of the world proletariat-working class, I express my hearty wishes to all the leftist proletariat communist revolutionaries of the world.”
“It has been proved that the scientific socialism invented by Karl Marx along with the dialectical & historical materialism he researched is the solid ideological weapon for the world human being,” he opined.
Chairman Prachanda, the globally renowned Marxist theorist asserted, “Before Marx propounded Marxism, it was well-established that the ruling class is privileged to rule over the working men and the working class is obliged to be ruled,” and added, “After the invention of Marxism, for the first time in history, it was ideologically established that working people deserve the right to revolt.”
Highlighting the contributions of Karl Marx, Chairman Prachanda recalled, “Karl Marx had asserted a concept that the working class is the main owner of all positive achievements that human society created.”
Chairman Prachanda, supreme commander of the Ten Years Great People’s War in Nepal, claimed, “For the implementation of Marxism and its development in the Nepali soil, a number of struggles are organized” and added, “The (new) constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic can be considered as one of the achievements of such struggles.”
Chairman Prachanda called, “To be aligned towards the path of socialism of the Nepali model as guided by the present constitution is the need of the day,” and appealed, “For which, I call for solidarity of all the forces against regression to advance in the path of socialism defeating regressive-reactionary conspiracies of all kinds.”
He claimed that was the only way for being honest and loyal to the scientific teachings of Karl Marx and wished for the longevity of Karl Marx and Marxism.
