Kathmandu. The suspension of the domestic and international flights has been extended until May 15. The suspension was introduced as a measure to control the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-9) in the country and effective till April 30.
The meeting of the high-level committee for the control of coronavirus chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel made the decision on Saturday.
Secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Narayan Bidari, said that the meeting concluded that the suspension should be extended further one week to avoid the risk of the outbreak which has been a global pandemic.
