PM KP Sharma Oli and Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'
 

Kathmandu. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ held a discussion on essential steps to be taken by the government to control the spread of Novel Coronavirus and to provide relief to poor people affected by the countrywide lockdown declared by the government.

Two chairmen of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) met at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Wednesday.

Chairman Prachanda suggested Prime Minister Oli for declaring a relief program on behalf of the government of Nepal to support peasants, workers, landless, poor, marginalized and needy people.

Two chairs of the NCP also discussed about the recent developments over the issue of purchase of medical supplies to prevent and control coronavirus as the public, press and civil society have raised serious questions on the comparative price and transparency of the same.

Besides this, they also talked on how to resolve the problem of Nepali citizens trapped at the border areas due to the nationwide lockdown in Nepal and India, both.
