Kathmandu. Comrade Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre) says that the reactionary forces are attacking the achievements of the 70 years of people’s movement to move the cartwheel of history backwards.
Addressing the municipal gathering of the Young Communist League (YCL), the youth wing of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Centre), at Madi, Chitwan today, Chairman Prachanda said that the dissolution of the federal parliament on December 20 was a huge attack on the democracy and republic. The threat is not over yet, he added.
Former Prime Minister Prachanda said, “Some elements are putting their effort to overturn the changes we have achieved. With an attack on the proportional and inclusive character of the constitution, the regressive forces are trying to take advantage of it, he added. Within some days, a new era will begin with the change of the government for which a discussion is going on with Nepali Congress and other parties, he informed.
Chairman Prachanda pointed that what happened in Karnali, may get repeated to the government of KP Oli at the centre. He said, “The comrades of Karnali has already shown, we shall show at the centre as well.”
Addressing a huge mass gathering, Chairman Prachanda said that the final preparation is going on to correct the autocratic government. “You will hear the good news soon. We shall form a new government in alternative to this KP Oli led government”, he shared. “There must be a transformation at the centre and it will be,” he repeated.
Reaching the home and foreground of the people and gathering a new force, the brokers will be kneeled down. He clarified that the fists will be raised up for the new revolution instead of the weapons. He said that he is enthusiastic with the presence of a huge mass, wherever he goes.
The republic is under threat, he added, the reactionaries are trying to finish Prachanda, who played the main role for today’s change. He said, “KP Oli is saying that it’s Prachanda, who brought all of these changes, if he could be finished, everything will be finished.”
He claimed that he is always in favour of communist unity but the party was split due to the effort of reactionary forces. He also assured that the problem of the people of Madi will be solved soon.
Comrade Ram Prasad Sapkota ‘Deepshika’, chairman of the Young Communist League (YCL) and central committee member of the CPN (Maoist Centre), comrade Ganga Belbase, member of the National Assembly of the Federal Parliament, comrade Renu Dahal, Mayor of the Bharatpur Metropolitancity, comrade Thakur Dhakal, Mayor of the Madi Municipality and other leaders were present at the mass gathering.
